The Log Cabin Visitor Information Center is operated by the Anchorage Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), which maintains three additional visitor information centers at the airport. The Airport Domestic Visitor Information Center, on the lower level of Anchorage International Airport, is open seven days a week year around. Two Visitor Information Centers are located in the International (North) terminal and are open seven days a week year around and staffed for scheduled arrivals. ACVB's fifth Visitor Information Center is located at the Parkgate Building (corner of Old Glenn Highway and Easy St.) in Eagle River, a few miles east of Anchorage on the Glenn Highway. It offers an excellent opportunity for "rubber tire" visitors to pick up information on Anchorage before arriving downtown. N ote: As parking is limited for  large vehicles near the city center it is a good idea to have a plan before you drive downtown.
