Alaska Railroad has daily passenger service during the summer months between Fairbanks and Anchorage with stopovers at Denali National Park and Talkeetna during summer. The train departs Fairbanks at 8:15am and arrives in Anchorage at 8:15pm. This train now includes premier seating in luxury dome cars with signature GoldStar service in addition to regular Adventure Class seating. Reservations required. Children 2 to 11 ride for half-fare; children under 2 free when accompanied by parent or guardian. Princess Lodges Princess pioneered luxury rail travel in Alaska withULTRA DOME railcars. Enjoy reserved seating in the full-length, upper-level dome lounge. The wraparound domes are some of the largest glass  windows ever built for rail, affording spectacular views of the surrounding scenery.
