Auke Bay RV Park. 907-789-9467 Box 210215, Auke Bay, AK 99821. Full-service park. To get to Auke Bay RV Park, turn right out of the ferry terminal and proceed 1.5 miles on Glacier Highway to the park on your left.

Auke Village Campground this is a US Forest Service campground. 12 camp sites, toilets, water and firewood available. No reservations. Reached by turning left from the Ferry terminal and driving 1.5 miles. Open May-September.  907-586-8800.

Mendenhall Lake Campground operated by the US forest Service, is on  Mendenhall Lake with an awesome view of Mendenhall Glacier. There is wood, water and toilets (no electricity).

To reach the campground, turn right from the ferry terminal, travel 1.7 miles  to Loop Road. Turn left onto Loop Road, travel 3.2 miles to Montana Creek Road, turn left and travel .8 mile to the campground.

Spruce Meadow RV Park, 10200 Mendenahll Loop Road; 907-789-1990. Juneau's largest full service RV Park. Open year-round. Close to ferry terminal and area attractions.

The U.S. Forest Service provides camping and picnic facilities in the Juneau area. Reservations 1-800-280-CAMP.
