Grey Mountain is a day hike near Whitehorse that has terrific views of the surrounding area. This is the closest high alpine hike to Whitehorse. It is 2.5 km to the summit, which is a good place to turn around if you do not want to do the full 12km. From the S.S. Klondike cross the bridge onto Lewes Blvd. and make a left onto Alsek Road. Then make a left at Tutshi Road and follow it for about 10 km. Note that road conditions can be variable.
