Angel Rocks Trail

Angel Rocks trailhead is a small picnic and parking area at mile 48.9 of the Chena Hot Springs road. A 3.5 mile loop trail leads to large granite outcropping. It is an easy day hike for most people, as the top of the rocks is less than two miles. Incredible views of the Alaska Range, Chena Dome, Far Mountain, and the Butte. This hike is also the starting point for the 8.3-mile (one-way) hike to Chena Hot Springs which is more challenging.
