Crescent Creek and Carter Lake Trail

Crescent Creek and Carter Lake Trail is an 18 mile trail joining the Seward and Sterling Highways. It is great for a multi-day trip although the trail from Crescent to Carter is difficult. Trailheads are at mile 45 on the Sterling Highway or mile 33 on the Seward Highway. Day hikes from either Trailhead is great.  About 8 miles round trip to Carter Lake from the Seward Hwy and 13 miles round trip to Crescent Creek from the Sterling Highway.
