Fort St. John North Peace Museum Journey through Fort St. John’s history from native settlement to the pioneer homesteads and the construction of the Alaska Highway in 1942. Interactive exhibits include a tepee, trapper’s cabin, blacksmith shop, police barracks and jail. An excellent selection of local history books is available at the museum gift shop.
