Mt. Ripinsky Trail is well known as the crown jewel of hikes in Alaska! This challenging seven-mile route offers spectacular views from the alpine ridge and can be completed as a day hike or overnight trip. Access the trailhead by taking 2nd Avenue to Young Road and following it to the parking area at the end. The trail begins on the left before the old pipeline road.
