Tracy Arm – Ford Terror Wilderness

Tracy Arm – Ford Terror Wilderness is almost 650,000 acres of pristine wilderness. It encompasses two sheer walled fjords; Tracy Arm and Endicott Arm. These narrow fjords are both over 30 miles long with large tidewater glaciers at their head. The North Sawyer Glacier is at the head of Tracy Arm and Dawes Glacier is at the head of Endicott Arm. Visitors can book day tours from Juneau to explore this area. Many
cruise ships also include a journey through Endicott Arm to Dawes Glacier as part of their itinerary. The wilderness area is home to a variety of wildlife including brown and black bears, mountain goats, bald
eagles, harbor seals, whales and sea lions.
