Valdez Fish Derbies holds a Kids Pink Salmon Derby, Silver Salmon Derby and a Halibut Derby with more than $60,000 in cash and prizes being given away. The Halibut Derby runs May 24th through August 31st with a 10-day Halibut Hullabaloo from June 6th through 15th. The Valdez Silver Salmon Derby runs July 19th through August 31st, with two winners every day.
The Halibut Derby features two winners each week and there is a one-day Women’s Silver Salmon Derby slated for August 9th.
