Watson Lake Airport

Watson Lake Airport Is not only the area’s only airport, it is a unique stop for history and aviation buffs. It is the only remaining air terminal from the WWII Northwest Staging Route, which was a critical network of airfields and radio stations from Edmonton, AB to Fairbanks, AK. The terminal houses a small historical display highlighting the airport’s wartime role and the development of the Alaska Highway. The airport is located 10 km north of Watson Lake on the Robert Campbell Highway.
